Every item is inspected, cleaned, and sanitized between rentals. Cookware and dishes are washed using a high-temperature sanitize cycle, while sleeping bags, sheets, blankets, and other fabrics are machine washed and treated with ozone technology to help eliminate odors, bacteria, and common pests. We thoroughly inspect all gear before every rental to ensure it's clean, complete, and ready for adventure.

Absolutely! We love adventure dogs and offer dog-friendly camping gear and add-ons to help your four-legged family member enjoy the outdoors with you.
Before you bring your pup, it's important to think through your plans for the trip. Camping with a dog can be incredibly rewarding, but it also comes with some unique challenges that first-time campers often don't anticipate.
Dogs may not be left unattended in rental tents or campsites at any time. For your dog's safety and the protection of our gear, dogs cannot be tied up at a campsite while you head off for the day, nor can they be left alone in a tent. Even on mild days, tents can heat up quickly, and anxious dogs can accidentally damage tents, sleeping bags, and other equipment.
If you bring your dog, plan on them being your adventure buddy for the entire trip. There usually isn't a safe place to leave them while you head into town for ice cream, visit a brewery, rent kayaks, or spend the afternoon sightseeing.
You'll also want to think about food storage. Dog food, treats, bowls, and even chew toys can attract rodents and other wildlife if left unattended. Depending on where you're camping, improperly stored pet food can attract raccoons, coyotes, bears, and other animals.
Before your trip, research any hikes or attractions you plan to visit. Many popular destinations have restrictions on pets. For example, dogs are not permitted on many trails and natural areas, including some of Oregon's most popular hikes. If hiking is a major part of your trip, make sure your dog will be allowed before you bring them along.
For some adventures, bringing your dog is the perfect choice. For others, everyone—including your pup—may be happier if they stay home with a trusted pet sitter.
Dogs are welcome. Cats and other pets are not permitted in rental equipment.

Yes. We collect a $150 refundable security deposit with each rental.
The good news? Most customers receive their full deposit back.
We understand that camping gear is meant to be used outdoors, and normal wear and tear is expected. A scratched cooler, a dusty tent, or a small ember mark on a camp chair are all part of a life well-lived outside. We're not looking to nickel-and-dime anyone for signs that the gear was enjoyed.
However, customers are responsible for returning all rented items and for damage caused by negligence, misuse, or prohibited uses. Examples might include:
- Missing equipment
- Torn tents
- Lost or discarded reusable propane bottles
- Smoke or pet damage
- Broken equipment resulting from misuse
- Excessive cleaning required due to neglect
If an item is missing or damaged beyond normal wear and tear, we reserve the right to charge the card on file for repair or replacement costs.
For complete transparency, your rental agreement includes a detailed inventory list and the replacement value of each item before your trip begins, so there are no surprises.
If something gets damaged during your adventure, just let us know. We know accidents happen, and we're always happy to work with customers who communicate with us.
